About The OwnerSuzanne Medler has been active in the antique business since 1984 and has been operating the Brown House Antiques with her husband David since 1986. She graduated from Cornell University's College of Human Ecology with a B.S. in Textiles and Design. This background led to an interest in antique and vintage textiles, as well as other items that relate to women. Suzanne is a lifelong summer resident of Willsboro and lifelong resident of Schenectady, NY. Ms. Medler is a member of the Certified Appraisers Guild of America, and conducts personal property appraisals and estate sales in the Schenectady area when the Brown House is not open. As the owner of Suzanne Medler Antiques, she also exhibits her antiques at several antique shows in the Capital District. |
